Bibhu Prasad Routray chaired a technical session “The Northeastern region in India’s Foreign Policy: Implications for India-ASEAN relations” in an international conference, “India’s Northeast & Beyond: Challenges and Opportunities”, organised by the Department of Peace and Conflict Studies and Management, School of Social Sciences, Sikkim University, Gangtok on 25-26 June 2015 at Gangtok’s Royal Heritage Hotel. The Conference brought together senior and junior research scholars from the country and abroad to deliberate on issues facing the northeastern states as New Delhi tweaks its ‘Look East Policy’ to ‘Act East Policy’.
