Shanthie Mariet D’Souza spoke at a panel discussion “Vision 2020: The Future of India-Afghanistan Relations”, organised by the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung-India at the Indian International Centre Annexe, Lecture Hall I, New Delhi on 24 April 2015. The other speakers were Rakesh Sood, Mantraya Adviser and Former Ambassador to Afghanistan; Dr. Seshadri Chari, Head of Foreign Policy cell, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP); and Kanwal Sibal, Former Foreign Secretary of India. The panel was chaired by Maj. Gen. Ashok Mehta.
